Friday Cards & Box Promos

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Precious Memories - Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - Chisato Sumiyoshi Chisato Sumiyoshi (01-001)

Cost: 4 Source: 1 AP: 40 DP: 30

When your character named 「Chisato Sumiyoshi」 approaches and is put into your trash, when another one of your characters named 「Chisato Sumiyoshi」 approaches, it gets +20/+20 until end of turn and then stand it. It may approach one additional time this turn.

Types: School Uniform

Thoughts and comments
These days in Precious Memories, the cards that can approach more than once each turn are usually the strongest, which tells me the Chisato deck is going to be the KoiChoco deck to beat.

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Precious Memories - Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - Isara Aomi Isara Aomi (01-078)

Cost: 3 Source: 2 AP: 30 DP: 30

When this card approaches, you may return a character named 「Isara Aomi」 to your hand. If you do, you may rest one of your opponent’s character with the same cost as the character you returned to your hand.

Types: School Uniform

Thoughts and comments
This is highly inefficient. If you could return a character to your opponent’s hand or if you could rest a character of the same cost or lower, that might be worth it, but to just rest the character requires too much of an investment on your part to make this a viable strategy turn after turn. Maybe as a final finisher this could work, but that’s never a guarantee.
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Precious Memories - Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - Suggestive Mannerisms Suggestive Mannerisms (01-115)

Cost: 0 Source: 2

[Approach/Opponent]: Choose 1 of your opponent’s cost 2 or lower characters. Until end of turn, prevent all damage that character would deal to you.

Thoughts and comments
Usually, it’s best to just use defensive events that prevent your opponent’s characters from approaching altogether, but this can have some interesting strategic advantages if played correctly. I don’t like the restriction of only being able to target a cost 2 or lower character, because I can’t see this being overpowered by being able to target any character.
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Precious Memories - Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - Chisato Sumiyoshi Chisato Sumiyoshi (P-001)

Cost: 1 Source: 2 AP: 10 DP: 0

If you have 5 or more characters named 「Chisato Sumiyoshi」, when this card approaches, it gets +20/+20 until end of turn.

This card can’t be blocked by characters with DP lower than this card’s AP.

Types: Swimsuit

Thoughts and comments
It seems clear to me that this set is pushing players to choose either Chisato or Satsuki.
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Precious Memories - Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - Satsuki Shinonome Satsuki Shinonome (P-002)

Cost: 1 Source: 2 AP: 0 DP: 10

If you have 5 or more characters named 「Satsuki Shinonome」, when this card approaches, it gets +20/+20 until end of turn.

This card can’t be blocked by characters with AP lower than this card’s DP.

Types: Swimsuit

Thoughts and comments
It would seem this is the mirror of the set’s other box promo card, but not nearly as useful as this card doesn’t allow for battle trades in your advantage. Useful for sure, but not nearly as good as Chisato.
